Dear brothers and sisters in
Christ!
Sorry for being late with the update from
Russia South, even so we do not want to miss opportunity to share with you about
how God is working in Russia South.
First of all we want to thank our Lord for the
answer on our prayer we lifted up to Him together with you. As you remember in
February we asked you to join us in prayer for two girls that weren’t allow to
attend Kid’s club by prohibition of their father. God softened the father’s heart and girls are
happy to be back to the Kid’s club and even more this man (his name is Mooslim)
came to the Woman’s Day celebration our District had on March 7th. The new
impression he experienced during the celebration changed his opinion about the
church. We pray about this family that God will continue to work in Mooslim’s
heart.
As we already mentioned Woman’s Day celebration
for the ladies of the District churches, it was great time to feel the unity of
the church, the time of encouragement, the time when we honor mothers and talk
about wonderful God’s plan for woman, the time when we laugh and cry together,
the time when we pray for God’s wisdom in our life. Men of the District
came with the word of greeting and wonderful songs addressed to Nazarene ladies.
Another event we had last week in
Volgograd was
the District Assembly of Russia South.
The new elder was ordained for the ministry –
pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene Yury Ananev.
We think Church of the Nazarene in Russia South stepped up on the new
stage of its development because pastor Yury is the one who closed the first
list of people who responded on God’s call since Church of the Nazarene was
established in Volgograd.
Five people from the next list got the District
license and are on the way to the goal to dedicate their life to the
Lord.
Prayer request
Please, pray for the Grace church of the Nazarene in Chalter of
Rostov area that is going through the process to reregister the church. There
are some problems with the local authority.
Sergey, Nina Archakov
